My 9 month-old...
I believe Shannon was 9 months when I took this picture...I was dressing her and she was acting goofy. :) Shannon loves to laugh!

Hangin' out at the Jacobs/Iverson-Dooley wedding reception.
Shannon's classic sleep pose when she was still in her bassinet--hands behind her head! :)
Snoozin' on Mommy and Daddy's bed...7 months old!
"Dada was takin' my pitcher an' I jus' wanna'd ta play!" :) Shannon, I love your bright eyes!

A Few April Pics
Our little cupcake...she sleeps most of the time with her hands up behind her head like this--it's so cute!
This was a yummy treat on a cold spring day--meat pie! (The message was for Dave...:)
Me (Trying to get my new highlights in the pic) :) On our way out to a fun day in Spokane!

Dave and Deborah in Spokane...errr...sometime in May. Our first "enjoyable" outing with a baby. :) (Meaning Shannon was 3 months and easier to travel with than on our anniversary trip on April 31st...)

3 Months Old!
Our little angel sleeping...I love purple on her!
Shannon is in the 92nd percentile for both height and weight--a big, healthy girl! :)
I was so thrilled when we got this BOB "suv" jogging stroller for 40.00 from a couple that was moving away and selling most of their stuff. I highly recommend this stroller for anyone wanting a mid-sized, super comfy jogging stroller! This one was at least 4 years old, and is still like new!
Sleepyhead!
Shannon has started the drooly-bubbly mouth stage as she practices for teething. :) I go through so many little bibs!

a fun pic
Dave had fun taking some pictures of Shannon last week. This whole week we've hardly slept at night due to Shannon having a really bad cold/cough. We were up about every 15 minutes one night, and every 2 hours for the past 3 days. :( We turned the shower on hot and just sat in the bathroom with her so the steam would help her congestion. She coughed so hard at times it made her throw up if I had just nursed her! Poor baby! :( It just broke my heart to see her suffering. I'm so glad she's better today! Still coughing, but no more fever, and she is very responsive again! Yay! Anyway...here is a fun photo Dave took. For those of you who don't know, Dave is quite a good photographer--more of landscape than people, but he's getting talented with Shannon! :)

More Pics From Easter!
Shannon's Baptism!
March 23rd, 2008: Shannon was baptized by Grandaddy! She didn't cry or fuss, and was the "smiliest" I've seen her yet afterwards and all day! Very fun. :)
Shannon with Mommy...
I think her little bonnet is adorable! She didn't wear it to church though--she had a cute white bow in her hair from a website that makes bows for little girls' fine hair: www.noslippyhairclippy.com ! (They really do work!)
Shannon in her christening gown. The Church's new little Christian member!

Smiling at Mommy!
Hooray! Shannon made my day on St. Patrick's Day by giving me several "real" smiles and "talking" to me! She has the cutest smile! I could only snap a couple pictures...the memory card was full and I didn't know how to delete via the camera! :( But I did manage to get this grin. *Sigh*...MELTS your heart! :)
Randomly ordered photos...
This was so cute! Shannon found, not her thumb, but one finger to suck on!
Daddy and Shannon chillin' in the rocker. This adorable knit one-piece was sent her from her great-aunt and uncle and 2nd cousins in France. I love French baby clothes!
Shannon in one of her favorite places to hang out--her changing table!! The changing table was given to me by Kristin, who got it from Bekah Merkle. I spray-painted it semi-matte black, and got a contoured changing pad for it. It's a pretty comfy place to chill! I attached her Winnie the Pooh mobile above it, and she has her stuffed animals stuck onto the side. "Enjoy the mini-skirt while you can Shann! No more of that when you're a little older!" :)
